Coming home: Our school has received a donation of winter jackets. Please indicate on the pink paper coming home, if you require a jacket for your children and return the form to school.

Today the students in room 9 began creating their colour wall. We glued coloured items which matched the colour of the ice cream we chose. We worked cooperatively in small groups.

Ask your child to discuss their contribution to the group.

Your child is encouraged to bring a small item to add to our colour wall which is under construction.

We worked like scientists and discovered that coloured water could be mixed together to create new colours. Ask me what happened when I mixed the colours together..

London and Achuch mixed red and yellow to make orange

                                                                                                                                        Sara and Aariz work hard!

While some of the students explored mixing colours with water some of us were busy at the light table.

We also read the book Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert .....

and then we got busy planting our own seeds in an earth puck.

We are excited about watching our seeds grow.
