Today we started to transform our winter tree into a spring tree. Together, we brainstormed some ideas how we could change it!
Ask me about it...
We read,
Ask me about my favourite part..
We started our animal art project and decided on a few animals that we will draw.
Today we observed that our sweets peas were growing and we did some math in our garden..
Count the tall plants with me..
Ask me about my learning...
Mrs. Mckie gave us a Parsley plant and we bought some seeds to plant our own..
Ask me what sense did we use to smell... What did it smell like?
Ask me how tiny were the seeds..
Ask me how were the Cilantro seeds different from the Parsley seeds?
We spent some time in our garden and tried to focus on what we could see and hear using our senses...
Ask me what I heard...
-wind... How did the wind feel on my face?
-airplane
- chain making a noise
-birds
we saw a lady bug
We also observed how we are all very different, unique and special in our own way..
Ask me to tell you how some of us the same yet different
" I am a girl but I have a different colour skin." " I have curly hair." I have blond hair."
Bean Experiment Observations
Ask me about it...
What did I see...
We went outside on the playground and saw lots of wrappers outside where we play. We gathered around and talked about how we can be a good citizen of our community. Ask me about it?
This is what good citizens do..
We went in and cleaned our hands. We talked about hygiene and how we do not touch things that do not belong to us. If we are doing community work with adults we listen and follow instructions to help keep our community clean.
We read,
Ask me about my confidence to do some learning tasks and making judgments choices
Thanks,
Mrs. Malik & Mrs. Queen
