Today Ms. Heather from Little Green Thumb  came to talk to us about harvesting.
                   

She divided us into groups of farmers who had to work together to collect the harvest before she called "frost". Ask me why we had to stop when she called frost. 

Today we were harvesting peas.

  Ask me what farmers do when they finish their harvest but their neighbor has not yet finished.

After the harvest we enjoyed eating the peas.

 Our caterpillars continue to eat and grow.

Today we painted butterflies using either "warm" or "cool" colours. Ask me which colours are warm and which ones ore cool.

 First we chose to either paint with the warm or cool colours and then we painted long strokes across the butterfly.

Next we pulled the butterfly away from the background.

Then we added a black frame.

  

Finally we enjoyed our art work.
