Kindergarten classes have been given the opportunity to visit the Telus Spark Science Centre. We will be going on our field trip tomorrow Tuesday, March 1, 2016.   Kindergarten will be learning through a variety of science exhibits and will be attending a session on Making Mixtures. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions, make predictions and test their hypothesis to help them deepen their understanding of the world around them.

9:00 – Bus Leaves Vista Heights School  

9:15 – Arrive at Telus Spark

9:30 – 10:20 Creative Kids Museum (students will engage in small group learning with group teachers)

10:30 – 11:30– Making Mixtures

11:00 – Lunch

12:00 –1: 00–  The Brainasium (outdoor playground- weather permitting)

1:00-1:30 – Creative Kids Museum

1:50       Board bus and return to Vista Heights

2:30 – Arrive at Vista Heights

As this is a full day field trip, please ensure that you child brings a healthy snack, a bag lunch, and a water bottle.

 PLEASE DRESS WARMLY! BRING YOUR MITTENS, SNOWPANTS . Thanks!

This week we will be taking part in: D.E.A.R.  “Drop Everything and Read”, where we are encouraging everyone in the school to stop what they are doing during the assigned times and read.  We are doing this to acknowledge the generous donation of a free book for each student from the Books for Kids program.
