Family skate forms which have been returned to school with your child will be sent home again with your child with the word "confirmed" at the bottom of the form to indicate that your family is registered for the time you requested.

We will begin our in-line skating unit during gym time tomorrow. All students must wear socks. Helmets and safety equipment will be proved for all students. If Your child has their own helmet he/she may want  to wear it during in-line skating sessions.

We were very excited to continue working on our Mitten puppets today. We are now practicing to retell the story with our puppets. Ask me to tell you the order in which the animals entered the mitten.

Some books we read today:

This is a story about two polar bear cubs who become separated from their mother one snowy day. Ask me what happens at the end of the story. 

Our next art project will be inspired by the art work in this book. We will learn about drawing horizon lines and creating pastel colours. Stay tuned.
