I apologize there was no book exchange today because of the photos being taken in the Learning Commons.                              










 Today we had our individual photos and a class photo taken!

                                                 Waiting patiently for our turn....

We read a few pages from this book    and observed our
bean and tomato seeds

Ask me to tell you... what does a plant need to grow?

                                 Ask me what did I observe... What happened to the beans...

"The bean is peeling." "There is a stem sprouting."

Ask me why do we need the light...

We sat and predicted what was inside the box.... 

soil, toys, flower, bees, colour things, seed, insects, dolls....

                                                       our worm is making a  ?

                                   Kindergarten nature lovers are excited about learning about worms...

 Mrs. Reimer read this book and asked me to think about when I looked
at the clouds... what do I see?  Ask me to magine an animal that is fast (bunny) and an animal that is slow(turtle).

                                     Feeling the pumpkin... we came up with words...
"It is orange."     rough, has vertical lines, it's hard, smooth, has scratches, "It has a stem."
                               "Stem is rough." " It is wiggly."  " Can't balance."

Ask me what are we pointing to... ... the reflection

                                 Lucas said, " Has half of the X."   point to the vertical lines...

We read,      Ask me to tell you how dog got his dots...
   
 He had a black dot on his left ear, red dot is from the jam, blue from the paint, green from ...  brown from..., yellow from.... pink from...., orange from, purple
from..., grey from...   How many dots did he have ?

We read,   Ask me about the story and the rhyming words...
             What happened to the broom...? It broke... why?

Read the words that I read in this book to me and I will tell you which rhyme...
                  cat, cone, hat, fly, bone, broom, sky, paw, room, dog, found, jaw, ground, frog.

Ask me to pint to letters or words that I know.
