Today we welcomed Mrs. Queen to our Kindergarten Community. Many families met her last night at the school information night.



We started letter Ff for Fall. sang the song and looked for the letter...  We also looked for the letter in our classroom.

We also thought of words that begin with letter Ff

fly, fence, fire, flower, frog, flames, floss, funny, farm, fall, fish, friend, food fairy

Ask me to tell you a few...

                                  We found an F on Stirling's shirt ...       Ask me what kind of F is this?



For F we read,  Ask me about the story...
Ask me do we tease animals?   How do animals feel....

                                   Ask me to count the monkey's..... How many     5 (Five)

                   Ask me what are they saying to the crocodile..    Ask me to predict what will happen next

               Oops!   How many monkey's left...             Count with me...
Making different kinds of patterns...

       We read the book

We sorted different items with one attribute...

We read  to remind us we need to be respectful and not sneeze on
our friends...  Wash our hands after using Kleenex...  Ask me about this book.

A few of us needed to go over what can we can do  when we feel mad without hurting our friends feelings. We read this book and came up with a few strategies...
-bean bag
-calming space
-go for a walk    
We also brainstormed words that had the same meaning.... angry, sad, grumpy.....
