The students are very excited about our field trip to the zoo tomorrow!


Please send your child to school tomorrow with the following:

-Lunch in a plastic bag
-Snack
-Running shoes (no Flip Flops)

Today the students began the day by responding to the following question.....

 We recorded our responses and created a Bar Graph.
Ask me which group had the MOST students and which group had the LEAST. Ask me to explain how to make a bar graph.

We read  and then we explored various ways of adding two numbers together to make the number 6.

 The students used counters to help them make as many math sentences as possible.

Talson discovered that 3 red counters + 3 white counters = 6

Aliya discovered that there were many ways to show 6. 

Stirling wrote his answers in his math book.

We finished drawing and writing about animals that we would like to see at the zoo tomrrow!

As we were getting ready to line up, the students were fascinated by their discovery of little ball reflections in our room and on our bodies which were fascinating
