Today the students began the day by responding to the following question.....
We recorded our responses and created a Bar Graph.
Ask me which group had the MOST students and which group had the LEAST. Ask me to explain how to make a bar graph.
We read and then we explored various ways of adding two numbers together to make the number 6.
The students used counters to help them make as many math sentences as possible.
Talson discovered that 3 red counters + 3 white counters = 6
Aliya discovered that there were many ways to show 6.
Stirling wrote his answers in his math book.
