Making meaningful connections and learning through our garden
Observing the changes in our garden.. Ask me what did I notice?
One flower is dying.. I wonder why? Our Kindergarten students came
up with two reasons..
The flowers die so the plant can give
more food to the growing buds or if we touch them too much!
Mrs. Mckie brought an Orchid from her house
as she thought it was dying. She thinks we can nurture it help the plant to grow flowers! Mrs. Mckie we will do our best to look after your Orchid.
Ask me to look at the plant and explain...
We found a seed sprouting..
We read the book,
Ask me what was Sid trying to do... Why did he eat 6 dinners?
Where did he sleep?
Why did he go to the vet six times... After reading the book we looked at different numbers..

Ruby also looked for the word nine
Ask me to explain what equals 9
